this design was discovered. Translation of the inscription (Hint: Do NOT try it yourself with a dictionary !) reveals, that it was "made" by Tekkosho Nishijima based on a design by Prof. Takashi Nakata to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the "Japan Society of Mechanical Engineers".
